Nays Say - Week 5
September 24th 2006 00:07
Hello, Hello Hello!!!
Last week we covered reflexology which I found very fascinating. My husband was complaining of sore knees, so I used the foot map to find the reflexology spot and massaged that area. He now claims that it no longer hurts. I must of done something right!!
Lettuce and salad greens was the next topic, I confess that I am not a big fan of lettuce as I ate copious amounts of it as a teenager in an effort to be healthy. I don't mind it accompanied with things, just not alone.
St.John's Wort is abundantly growing in my paddock. It is not the latest get- rich-quick scheme but in fact a noxious weed in the area that I live in. I wish there was some way of making money out of it, but the harvesting process is too complex. As for the product, I know quite a lot of people who have had success from using it (in it's processed state) to treat mild depression and PMT.
The karate article caused a mild uproar amongst students of other martial arts styles, in that they felt that the style they did was superior to karate. I support all styles of martial arts and the benfits that karate gives also applies to other styles. This is mainly because they all have similar philosophies. I am a dedicated karate-ka (person who trains in karate), so natuarally I wrote about the style that I was most familiar with.
The topics this week are:
Tuesday: Treating chronic pain...Aromatherapy: how diffent smells can change your mood, attidude and help deal with pain.
Wednesday: Foods that heal...Tea - Find out how this brew has an amazing healing effect on the body.
Thursday: Body Insurance - the benefits of ...Ginko Biloba: Do you suffer from de-generative memory loss. This product might be just what you need.
Friday: Naturally treating...Cold and Flu: There are so many viral strains out there at the moment. Here are some suggestions to help boost your immune system and treat the viruses naturally.
You will notice a new catergory on Friday's. This will feature specific disorders with natuaral alternatives to treating them. We will go back to the mind, body and spirit segment further down the track.
Remember - Variety is the spice of life!!!
Untill next week...
Bye
